Drama

In this lesson, we talked about the differences between/ about Japan, Norway, America. we also played games. We introduced ourselves, movements and emotion e.g.

Art

We have to draw a landscape of the Pipemakers Park. Pre-teachers took pictures of everyone in our class. We can take two or three pictures of others including ourselves. I did my works of them, but they've seem a little childish to me.

Sose

On this subject, they gave us a sheet of work to do which was based on Footscray. We had to named or find where things are located in Footscray e.g. where our school is. They also showed us the videos of the land (Footscray) in World War 2.

English

We worked on poems. They (pre0teachers) separated our classmates to three groups. Each group has to read the poem and rotate after they’ve finished reading it. I kind of like doing it because the poems were cool and some are really hard to understand too. They also gave us a homework which is to write a poem about Footscray. We also have to write about our very best friend or childhood friend and the very first home we ever lived in.

Science

On this subject, we worked on an experiment which we paired up four or five people in each group. While we went to the excursions, we collected some soils. We did the sample soils with milk. We sterilized some of the soils and milk. After we worked on it, we wrapped them up in the Petri dishes and leave it for a few days. When we took them out, they smelled so bad.

Discovery Trail

On the 5 of May, before we walked down to the Footscray Art Centre, we measure the distance around the school. We did three activities on that day. In the first activity, we had to find the methods of the centre of a big circle using the robes, trundle wheels. The second activity was to find the centre of the circle using ruler, flour and the pins to mark the three points to make a triangle. In the third activity, we also to have found the centre of the circle using flours and trundle wheels.

Blackbird

On 29 of April, my class went on blackbird ferry on a cruise with some of the pre-teachers, and our classmates around the Maribyrnong River and we learnt about the history of it. Before that, in our groups, we collected soils. The men on the blackbird cruising names were Peter Summerville and Warie Summerville. I’ve learnt that the Maribyrnong River was occupied by the Indigenous (Wouworong) people which was 400 thousand years ago.
